Minnesota P-20 Education Partnership 2015 Report to the Legislature
Annual report of the Minnesota P-20 Education Partnership. Legislation passed in 2014 directed the Partnership to provide recommendations to the governor and legislature in several areas related to career and technical education. Five work groups were formed to develop the recommendations, all of which are included in this report. (download PDF)

Minnesota P-20 Education Partnership 2014 Report to the Legislature
Annual report of the Minnesota P-20 Education Partnership. The report focuses on the work of the Partnership in moving the implementation of the World’s Best Workforce legislation forward, assisting the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) in the development of a coherent state strategy to move all schools forward, and how the Partnership will hold MDE accountable for this work. Report of the Postsecondary and Workforce Science Readiness P-16 Working Group, 8/08This report starts with broad recommendations to improve the Minnesota science standards. This is followed by reviews of international, national and state standards, national reports on K-12 and post-secondary expectations and the administrative and instructional experience of members. The information from the reviews as well as the experience of the Science Readiness Working Group are the underpinnings of the recommendations. The group also realized that improving Minnesota’s science standards impacts other parts of the educational system.  The implications of the proposed science standards improvements are addressed in the final section of this report.
